This divine awakening inspired him to choose this pristine haven to unfold his most cherished dreams: a sacred vision to uplift humanity by constructing schools, orphanages, and magnificent temples dedicated to the innocent and the needy.

Perched elegantly at an altitude of 4,500 feet, Kalimpong stands as a breathtaking testament to nature’s artistry. It is a realm where the lyrical River Relli weaves its way through lush green valleys, and the majestic, snow-capped peaks of the Himalayan ranges stand as timeless sentinels to the north. This enchanting tapestry draws thousands of seekers and travelers throughout the seasons. The Genesis of Divine Light

​The foundational light of Shri Krishna Pranami Dharma was kindled by Nijanandacharya Shri Devchandra Maharaj (1581–1655). Born to Matu Mehta and Kunwarbai in Umarkot, Sindh, he renounced the comforts of home at a tender age to embark on an intense quest for the Divine. His spiritual journey led him to Bhuj and Jamnagar, where he immersed himself in the deep study and listening of the Shrimad Bhagavat for fourteen dedicated years. Ultimately, Lord Krishna manifested before him, imparting the transformative Tartam Mantra. This spark initiated a widespread awakening, culminating in the establishment of Navtanpuri Dham as the central pilgrim seat of the faith.
